I’m a creative practitioner and cultural-sector professional working across strategy, project development and hands-on delivery. My work sits between art-making and organisational development: helping cultural organisations shape clear plans, build partnerships, secure funding and create work with meaningful public value.
I trained as a painter (Cardiff, 1999–2002; Cyprus College of Art, 2002; MA Birmingham, 2004), and although my practice has evolved, that creative foundation influences everything I do, from problem-solving to collaboration, from placemaking to audience engagement.
Since 2006, I’ve worked across the arts and cultural sector in roles spanning audience development, arts marketing, programming, community engagement, producing, fundraising and strategic planning. I currently work within local government, supporting a broad portfolio of cultural venues, programmes and partnerships across Warwick District.
My professional interests include:
Digital strategy for cultural organisations
Placemaking and public spaces
Creative economy development
Arts engagement and storytelling
Organisational planning & KPI frameworks
Cross-sector partnerships
Sector convening & community networks
I continue to make and explore new creative work, particularly through painting and printmaking, often shaped by my colour-blindness and interest in tonal landscapes, limited palettes and mark-making.
This site brings those two strands together, creative and strategic, as they continue to inform each other.
