My creative practice is rooted in painting, drawing and printmaking. A lot of my recent work explores colour-blindness, limited palettes, tonal landscapes and the relationship between intuition, restriction and mark-making. I treat this part of my practice as a space for experimentation, a way of thinking visually, developing ideas, and reconnecting with materials after many years focused on sector work. Some pieces are resolved; others are working studies. All of them inform how I think and work more broadly.
You’ll find:
paintings and sketches
work exploring tonal landscapes
limited-palette studies connected to colour-blindness
lino prints and small editions
creative experiments and side projects

After a long break from painting, I’m tentatively finding my way back - rediscovering the joy of making, embracing the quirks of colour-blindness, and starting an entirely new creative journey I’m excited to see unfold.
I've been making pictures of birds for over a decade. They are a useful vehicle for me to continue to explore themes and ideas from my MA.
Warwick's Unbelievable History is a Twitter account where I weave fact and fiction to create incredible stories about Warwick’s unbelievable past.
Me and Craig Spivey take to the streets on two Raleigh Magnums, stopping to look at and discuss architecture, art and anything that catches our eye.
A collection of objects I've found at car boot sales, charity shops, and bric-a-brac stores. I'm addicted to tat and think it's more valuable than it actually is.
